Wendy Roberts was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where she fended off frost bite in winter and mosquito bites in summer.
Wendy Roberts wrote her first mystery in the third grade. It was the story about a missing birthday cake. It received less than favorable reviews from classmates forcing her to take a hiatus that lasted over twenty years. Then, with four squabbling children at her feet, she decided it was either kill, or be killed. Armed with a pad of paper and half a crayon, Wendy began to write again.
An armchair sleuth, fan of all things mysterious but a huge chicken at heart, Wendy's mind is often in a secretive, cloak and dagger world of intrigue. In reality her physical presence is frequently required in more commonplace paternal duties like chauffeur, chef and referee.
Wendy resides in the Pacific Northwest with her four children, a sluggish
guinea pig and an adorable Yorkshire terrier. She happily writes about
murder and is hard at work on her next novel.
